DRINK with Curiosity! Come explore the gems on our shelves to find your new favorite.
When Sam Lando first visited us at DRINK back in 2018 during our first TWFE, we were just starting to find our footing. It’s hard to believe that was nearly seven years ago! Back then, we were a much smaller operation, but we shared one thing that’s remained constant: a passion for quality, small-production wines and a deep respect for the artisans behind them. Sam’s visit was one of our earliest milestones, and it meant so much to us to welcome him into our space.
Since then, DRINK has come a long way. We’ve moved to a larger location, allowing us to better serve our growing community of wine lovers. One of our proudest upgrades? A temperature-controlled wine cellar, designed to preserve every bottle at its peak. We’re no longer just a small shop on the corner—we’ve become a gathering space for people who appreciate the artistry behind every pour. But through it all, we’ve stayed true to the values that made us fall in love with this business in the first place: community, quality, and connection.
The Power of Relationships: Small-Production Winemaking
What makes DRINK special is not just our selection of wines, but the relationships we’ve cultivated with the winemakers themselves. These aren’t the big, corporate labels that flood the market—they’re small-production winemakers who put heart and soul into every bottle they create. Like Sam Lando, these are the kinds of winemakers we’re proud to work with: family-run operations, committed to the craft and dedicated to producing wines that are as unique as the people who make them.
Each winemaker we partner with has a story to tell, and every bottle is a reflection of their hard work, passion, and vision. It’s not just about what’s in the glass—it’s about the connection we share with these artisans. The best part of our job is being able to share those stories with our customers, whether it’s a rare find from a boutique vineyard or a lesser-known gem from a small family operation. We believe in the power of these relationships, not just for the wines we sell, but for the community we’re building together.
At DRINK, we’re more than just a business—we’re a part of a network of small businesses that are all working toward the same goal: creating something meaningful. Our relationship with Sam and many other small-production winemakers is built on mutual support. We share a vision of creating something authentic, something that tells a story beyond the label. For Sam, it’s about producing wines that speak to the land, the climate, and the people who care for them. For us, it’s about providing a platform for these stories to be heard and enjoyed by those who appreciate the craftsmanship behind them.
It’s a relationship that goes both ways. Sam, like so many of the winemakers we work with, understands the challenges of running a small, independent business. He knows the hard work it takes to keep a family winery running year after year. And we, in turn, understand the importance of supporting those like him who are doing things the right way, even when it’s not the easiest path. That’s what makes our partnership so special—it’s built on a shared belief in the importance of quality, integrity, and, above all, community.
